Update : Rom Release 23016

[b]I have faced many problem
1. IMEI changed
2. calling and reciving sound problem
3. camera quality down
4. sms problem

now i want to dead my set can any one tell me or gimme any soft to corrupt windows or dead handset

Hi Aijaz,
You never read the topic's later responses, did you? Please always make it a thumb rule that you read all the comments before plunging in for something. It has been mentioned a lot of times already that this build has corrupted many IMEIs and that you should backup your phone completely. I guess you didn't do that either. Well done, you are in trouble and the only way you can solve this out is by going to the ASUS Service Center and telling them that you suddenly started having a call problem or else who better get ready to shell out money for the new motherboard.

I hope this more serves as a learning experience for you in the future to go through as many posts as you can. I even attached an earlier build which didn't have this problem in the later posts. Unfortunately, moderators of this forum are not active anymore and hence haven't changed the link to the build. Please go through all posts. And try and post in a better English in the future.

when we will see WM6.5 CE OS 5.2.23064 for asus P320

If anyone would help me on problems I encounter and help me test beta roms , I can start making a new p320 rom from next week .

Choose a build please
- Build 23420 has the new contacts app.
- Build 23060 has the menu eye candy but not the new contacts app.

The most stable please, either is fine with me

One with less network problem, if miss call issue can be resolved..would be the greatest feature

Isnt that the VGA DPI? Dont you need the QVGA DPI for the P320?

Wooooo, we finally have someone here. Olah! I was just about to dump my WinMo 6.5 ROM in P320 when you appear like a God. Looks like it's worshipping time for me.

Build 23420 has a lot of eyecandy to it and am really looking forward to it. Menu eye candy might not really be something you would want to see in an ASUS P320 unless it can handle it. My vote goes to 23420. IMO, I am currently downloading and will then upload the ROM to Mediafire. You hang on there. I will come up with it very soon.

P.S. Thanks for the exciting and saving grace again. . I might even send you a donation if I can convince my Dad for it.

The VGA DPIs are provided by Da_G (XDA-Developers) by default and the other DPIs are provided as a different file. Never worry. QVGA DPI can be then assembled after downloading the two SYS folders.

And the link given by rayraven has it all. I am sure this will do it for you. All the best for the cooking and hope you come up with a well fried ROM (SYS to be tasted please).

Meanwhile, I just wanted to know which kitchen you are using to cook the ROM. A different kitchen than hdubli's one interests me too.

Its my first time cooking a rom for P320 . SO please don't put too high expectations on me . Although I have cooked HTC Diamond roms before , but a Asus rom cooking is slightly different . ( E.g VGA and QVGA ) and hope you people can help me if I were to encounter any problems . And most importanly , thank you all for the support , although real work on cooking a rom would only start next week because my school has final year exams this week .

It's perfectly fine considering we have had a ROM drought here for the past few months making us all lame and lazy to the highest extent. We would be more than happy to help with any problems to be solved within our own jurisdiction and if something is different than what we know, we would be happy to help by Googling for it telling it to you. Meanwhile, I would rather be happy to be a good friend to you rather than just someone looking professionally for a ROM from someone. It would be great if you accept the invitation.

I am happy to accept the invite , and when my rom comes out , please don't expect it to be totally bug free though ( As I said , I am just a noob )

Edit : I most possibly will start with a clean rom with no extra programs . Sorry if you want certain programs to come with it . I will try making one with extra programs in the future .

Well, I am saying this seriously that I would rather like the ROM to be with a few bugs because that makes the learning a whole lot more fun rather than encountering a sudden serious bug very randomly. But just to be encouraging you, I am sure even the "NOOB" can defeat the darkness and emerge victorious.

So, I suggest you study fast, do well in your exams and it would be great to know that a 100% result and a great ROM make a great combination on the same day. All the best for exams and I am sure you will do great. Considering you have studied of course!

Sure, I would be rather tempted to tell you I want the same. Customisations all later. A simple build itself is the best thing right now. Besides, I think a clean ROM is much more embraced by everyone than one with customisations because the former one gives you more freedom to make it your dream device. So stick to your idea now and frankly, that's what me me wanting too.
