It has the direct 96 DPI files to download. No need to recompile 96 DPI files from the 196 ones. Use them.

I did try and get some help regarding that folder but didn't really get the help I wanted but I think the custom programs you want in the ROM go into the OEM folder. For now, you can try cooking while leaving it blank.

See this tip a guy gave me. Should be of a lot of help to you.

As for the .ROM/.VM/Metadata, it depends how your original ROM is packaged. On the P565 we have an .abi file which can be extracted with p835abisplit2. This gives us an .nb0 file which contains the IMGFS, XIP & BOOT. You need the IMGFS.bin from this for your P320. (I use osnbtool for P565) Then follow these steps:
1. Use ImgfsToDump.exe on IMGFS.bin to get a "dump" folder
2. Use PKGTool.exe on the resulting dump folder to get "SYS" and "OEM" folders
3. Copy .ROM, .VM and Metadata folders from this SYS folder into your new SYS folder
4. Copy the entire OEM directory into the base of your kitchen, along with your SYS

Also,

You have to put FLASH.BIN inside the folder called "ROM" (it is used as template). Then run the tool... But i'm not so sure which version to put inside...

hi cccy, good to hear from you and i wish you success in your endeavour i would like to echo a4rocks and encourage you to look at something light and bug free... rather than filled with lotsa applications that we hardly use and causes to run the instrument slow.. and sluggish

Nope I was actually using the one provided by navx2vad. Now had I cooked a ROM, I would have brought a splew of ROMs very very fast. I am never greedy and always like to share my work with everyone. If cccy gets success, I will take inputs from him, try and create a ROM and hopefully come up with a PDF guide for all the noobs out there.

So, you can basically tell that my neck is hanging on the line for cccy. . Joking but yes future fast and well customised builds will come out as soon as I get the trick of the trade. I don't expect anything in return and only do it for the friendship to all guys out there meaning I can try and make more friends. I tried to contact several ROM developers for the P320 but it seems no one is interested in this stunning device. Anyways, I don't care about them because the new is coming soon.

By the way , anyone knows any apps to include fm radio into p320 ?

All right, then I guess I am dead for now. Kidding really. I know man, so I guess you focus hard for your exams from now only. And yeah, I am willing to even spend a month all for you to create the ROM. Really, am very excited to hear about someone helping us in dire need. Seriously ROMs are killing me these days.

Btw, P320 does not support FM Radio itself so I guess no app will be of any use to it in the first place. Looked for a lot of apps on PPCWarez, none worked for me. I guess this is one thing which I can call the only deficiency of this wonderful device.

From what i think, i guess you're gonna need time cause of your exams.

this is very unstable..
canot acces the battery from the today screen
randomly loses the memory card had to soft reset . had done it twicw in the past half an hour..
like the xda 21501 rom this also cannot run opera 10 and skype whareas the original 6.1 does...
