Hmmm, don't have the same problem:SMSes not saved, as soon as I try to open an SMS, it shows my SMS inbox is empty.
You're right... but it is too good to cut it out =DDo you have any idea DmBOB about which programs eat out the most RAM? I presume the EzInput keyboard is one of them.
You mean 2.0 version? It uses too much memory and have some bugs. And to make matters worse i can't find qvga lite versions...I was thinking about integrating the new Manila 2D build at the XDA-Developers made specifically for WM6.5
These two haven't happened to me ... yet.Danz wrote:- after an unknown amount of time it loses connection and it need a soft reset to fix.
- i cannot access phone options i get the message: "The phone is not ready. Wait 15 seconds and try again"
+1. I can confirm these two.Danz wrote:- in the interface screen if you are positioned on "photos" the green hardware button doesn't work.
- i don't know if "EzImput" has any options, if it does, they cannot be accessed from input method options.
Here you go with mine-whoa wrote:That said, it doesn't feel all that faster than stock 6.1.
And let's face it, the touchscreen on this model is no iPhone killer - the interface does feet clunky at times.
I see quite a few people are already testing it out. Can you all share your memory usage stats ?
I'm seeing only 16MB free right after boot - dropping to a meager 10-11MB after a few minutes of use.

Weird for me. Ok, here's the screenies for my SMS problem. Don't have any idea what's causing this. I have loads of SMSes in my SIM card too but even they aren't showing up.
Regarding Manila, I did decide to give it a try today but my feedback was a complete negative. While TouchFLO did work for me in 6.1, it just doesn't start up in 6.5. And when I tried to uninstall the HTC Shared Modules, it had some problems. Might be due to that.
Installed Phone Canvas, not happy at all though. Doesn't look very nice on my P320.
Had installed PhonEx too but as usual it works great with 6.1 but crappy with every build of 6.5. Issues range from not starting up at Windows boot and not coming up when I press the call button.
But other than this, am absolutely loving this build and hope to see more great great goodies coming from ya. After my exams finish in a months' time, I will take some time to learn cooking from you. Will be a lot of fun.
a4rocks wrote:Oh yes, I did forget to mention another bug in it. I do not have any skin for Windows Media Player and thus I have no way to control it except working it from the Today screen. I will post a screenshot in a little while too. Don't think it is too much of a bug. Can someone help me with a Windows Media Player skin here? Surely, a new reason to try a new skin.
That theme looks nice!a4rocks wrote:
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who would love to start off with a completely bare-bones ROM, and add stuff only if I want to.a4rocks wrote:Ya, that is a bit disappointing and mostly for the fact that there are many graphic elements and the EzInput keyboard itself. I have heard a lot at XDA-Developers regarding this keyboard's high requirement but hey, if you love it at the end of the day, I am sure there ain't too much of a problem. Surprisingly, the device storage space is huge.
Not whining, it's wishful thinking.a4rocks wrote:And Yes too for the fact that it isn't faster than the stock WM6.1 ROMs and frankly, the P320 was never even meant to be plus the fact that this might not be working at all when Windows Mobile 7 comes into the foray. So have to deal with realities till then but hey, as long as we get new stuff like this, I don't think we will have anything to whine about.
