Release P320 ROM Kitchen

Instructions to use
One can easily dump the flash.bin into OEM and SYS
Important Note
Thiskitchen I have included xip for 21234 but when making a new verion make sure you change the file name in batch file.
Put files in OEM, SYS and hit build OS
after complete you shd have FLASH.BIN in TOOLS Folder
Check the size.Its size shoul not be more than 58 mb.If more, u need to delete from eiher SYS or OEM.
All questions are welcome.I might be slow in responding, but I wll surely reply

It would be really nice if someone posts a stable M2D version. The latest ROM by hdubli seems to be pretty good. It clubbed with M2D would be really massive.

Can you upload it on some other server like rapidshare, mediafire is too slow

+1. If someone can come up with a 'Cooking ROM's for Dummies' thread, it would be great.

Looks like flow of ROMs has slowed down :) So need to figure it out myself. Any pointer on where to start, am a total n00b.

I have downloaded the kitchen files from the URL provided by hdubli.

Unfortunately, Im unable to execute the BuildOS.cmd. Im getting the error with \tools\buildos.exe file.

Appreciate help to resolve this issue.

How do I dump the flash.bin into OEM and SYS. I am new to kitchen and cooking, so will appreciate a helping hand.

Is there a way to convert flash.bin from russian to WWE. I saw some of really nice roms on russian site.

Hi,

I have used the kitchen and have been able to extract the xip.bin and imgfs.bin from the flash.bin released.

Post dumping the imgfs.bin and using the pkgtool and inserting the missing files it generated I still get an empty OEM folder, so my first question is this expected ?

Anyways I continued further and extracted the xip.bin and ran the buildos, it ran successfully but now is where I have a lot of confusion.

imgfsfromdump fails at the processing OEM as module. Also the template hdubli's has used is much much smaller than the imgfs I dumped from the flash.bin, I tried with both, it still failed.

This will still just let me re engineer the loop of taking apart and putting together a ROM The next bit is to figure out what files I can replace to generate a newer build.

I don't want to get in really really deep , but to be able to port other ROMs for this device as no one else releases new stuff for this device

hdubli, has released the kitchen.. but i guess no one keen to take in right spirit and release future updates to share with others.

people like me who are noob.. regarding rom release, always look forward to new rom updates.. but i guess there will be no updates.

hope, hdubli now himself releases one in near future.

Ok guys, running into a small error here. I have dumped all the required files into the SYS folder and then start using BuildOS but it always comes up with the error in the beginning only that it could not find imageinfo.bin with the temp folder. I don't know why this error is coming but I think I am making some small mistake here. Haven't kept anything in the OEM folder. Is that a reason? Just getting confused. Come on ROM cookers. Help here. I am sure just one help will go a long way in building ROMs. Hope to see a reply very very soon.

I'm an italian boy and I have a problem with the kitchen because I'm not good with the computer and especially with dos and so I don't know how I can dump the original rom into the 2 folders of the kitchen. Can someone that have time make a tutorial in which it is explained how I and the other people who want to try to do a rom can do a rom. I'm very sorry for my very bad english.

Long time back requested and yet to be fulfilled which might not be fulfilled in the future too as the state of the forum goes. Moderators are dead and ROM cookers are off to better stuff leaving us in the lurch. Hope someone goes ahead and does it for us.
