IT MAY BE ILLEGAL IN UR COUNTRY IF YOU CHANGE UR IMEI TO DIFFERENT IMEI. SO, USE THIS METHOD ONLY TO CHANGE UR PHONE'S INVALID IMEI TO ORIGINAL IMEI!!

Requirements:
Split P320 ROM
HEX Editor Neo or any other HEX Editor.
Note ur original IMEI number written under ur phone's battery.

Method:

Split ur official/regional wm6.0/wm6.1 850_GAX_SD_Enc.bin using Split P320 ROM tool. u will get FLASH.BIN, GSM.BIN and EXT_ROM.NB0.

Open GSM.BIN in ur hex editor. Find in HEX Type(Byte), 004400003501112.

Now, simply change those numbers to ur original IMEI number and save the GSM.BIN. That's it.

Flashing GSM.BIN:

Simply copy ur GSM.BIN along with any FLASH.BIN (you can also copy EXT_ROM.NB0 if you want) to ur sd card. Flash ur device from sd card by holding volume down button nd pressing a soft reset. hold volume down key till the sd card flashing starts.



Note: in case u do not find 004400003501112 in ur GSM.BIN, flash tht GSM.BIN nd note down the IMEI it has by dialing *#06# or by goin to system info. then, search for that IMEI number in GSM.BIN..

When i flash unmodified gsm.bin it works.

the modified gsm should work.. it worked in my bro's p320... currently, i dnt hav p320 to test it again. will report back as soon as possible..

thts funny... it worked for me on the very first try... now its gsm.bin stops at 10%... neway when i had a soft reset after 5 mins, the phone do starts up. also, network's there but ther is no imei in system info!!

guys pls dnt use this method unless a real fix is figured out

try using this method on the official 850_GAX_SD_Enc.bin

i havent test yet.. but someone here try it.

Have tried same problem.. it stops at 10.. . Well I do have a backup and its in the format .bac. Is there any work around for this >?

the above method works flawless in asus p527... instead of gsm.bin, it has gsm.dio.nb0.. which can b edited like above nd flashed.. what is the prob with p320??!! it's a bit hard to cook rom... nd even if cooked nd flashed a customized rom, imei gets change nd cant put back to original!!

I tried with the GSM.bin method and they stop at 10% !
With the 850_GAX_SD_Enc.bin the cheksum goes to 100% and then appear "invalid package".

Just one question for you all: With language version do you tried?

any fix found out phones without valid imei will stop working from 30th nov!!! plz help

frankly, no fix found..
see if ur device runs correctly or not after 30th. if yes, then u're lucky. if no, 2 options -- find a way to fix it/if device is still in warranty, give it to service center with official 6.1 flashed..

this device is so... u know secure nd all. it's very hard to customize it.. users and programmers pls see into this issue for trying out fix

is there any way of converting GSM.bin to *.raw file.. maybe modified GSM.raw can be flashed properly

finally figured out the solution! will make an instruction as soon as possible..

if you modify the GSM.BIN by a hex editor, you wont be able flash it to ur device.. the *.bin becomes corrupted when edited.. so, it's better to extract the GSM.BIN, edit the IMEI and compress it back to *.bin format.. u cannot extract GSM.BIN... but u can convert it to *.nb0 format, not by viewbin.exe but by mrtoto's nb0 kitchen..!! once it get converted, it can be edited and then, reconverted to *.bin format by conv3.exe (created by Juggler)..

Bluetooth works fine! It's not important! When i say: "fix the bluetooth", i want to mean restore the mac address.

Thanks , Now about Bluetooth, the device works just fine.... but still there is no satisfaction because of the lost Mac Address.

+ I was thinking that if Windows 6.5 would work perfect/flawless (no IMEI loss etc..) if I fix the IMEI in 4.15 first and then upgrade to Windows 6.5. Cause I think Flashing 6.5 is how I lost the IMEI..

no it's not like that. your device's IMEI number is there edited by company in your radio via GSMFFS(device data). while flashing your device, GSMFFS automatically backups and then restored again to the radio's default IMEI, i.e, '004400003501112.' sometimes, when flashing, you find that your device is not properly flashed, resulting 'not booting up' or 'asks for cold reset when you try to make hard reset.' THIS IS THE TIME YOU LOSE GSMFFS AS YOUR DEVICE'S INTERNAL DATA(GSMFFS) IS FORMATTED! this will result to have an IMEI as the default '00440000350112' of the radio package.... but what if you change the default IMEI of the radio package, i.e., GSM.BIN from '00440000350112' to 'your device's IMEI!!' this is the point of P320 IMEI Fixer. after editing and making your device's IMEI to default IMEI in GSM.BIN, you do not need to worry about GSMFFS backup and restore process.. with this modified GSM.BIN, you can flash any FLASH.BIN(whether it's official wm6.1 or customized wm 6.5,) you will have your device's original IMEI!!

about mac address, i want to ask a question - y is mac address so important to be restored? i could send and receive files through the device's bluetooth that too, like you all, have 'unknown' mac address!! @Getenks: what problems are you facing with your bluetooth??
