Update : Rom Release 23016

hi guys..

Releasing the latest build, version 23016.

CE OS 5.2.23016 (Build 23016.5.3.0)

i have added MSTag (mirocsoft new software release) and htc diamond keyboard, free memory is 26 MB on start.

Resolved Network Issue on startup, rom date & build no fixed,
added htc phone canvas.

Latest images from my ASUS P320 with the brand new 23016 ROM.



Super ROM and I love it. Using Windows SideShow too. Controlling my computer from as far my bluetooth allows me too. It is just a lot lot of fun. Superb. Meanwhile, anybody who needs help setting up Windows SideShow for their PDA can ask me. Windows SideShow only works with Windows Vista and Windows 7 and not with any other operating system and it works with bluetooth only.

Meanwhile, the Touch Diamond keyboard is terrific and I love it. Keep going ahead navx2vad. We love your well cooked ROMs. Till now no bugs and if I encounter one I will surely inform it to you. Till then, all you guys, have fun with this stable and fast ROM.

so far the rom is awesome,,,,,,, the most adorable rom i have seen for 6.5 for p320 ....bravo nav2xad..

BUG

OkAay sometimes i can not hear the other person i am calling and vice a versa....That's very nasty bug.... Any solution??....Is anybody else facing the same problem.???

@nav2xad.and @a4rock..please chek it urself on your mobile to whether are you also facing the same problem....?

my bluetooth is also not working.....did not try it with other phone sets....do i need to tweak the registry to fix bluetooth???

And that not hearing while over the phone is intermittent not all the time

So far so good. The only bug i found is that there is no MMS support. No big deal.

Bluetooth's working fine here. Not a problem. The HTC keyboard was provided with the ROM itself and you could have found it by clicking the arrow beside the keyboard icon. While the calling problem is not here for me. I have never heard problem like the ones you are facing before. Probably, your ASUS P320 itself has some problems. Do mention if you are facing the same problems again. Somebody might be able to help if he/she has the same problem too otherwise you are alone my friend.

Just tested for any calling or hearing problems on the line. Not at all. I just don't know why your phone is acting so weird. Anyways, stay clear of them and enjoy the ROM. I hope you have a lot of fun using it aside the bugs. See, if you can find a solution using Google if someone else also has problems like you. I think it is a very rare problem which almost everyone isn't facing.

Ya, I don't even need to send MMS's to anyone. So not a problem in any case for me at all. Although, I would like to see the functionality provided in later builds, just in case needed. Otherwise I am having a lot of fun and happy to see that we have another great ROM cooker among us helping all the P320 loyalists.

@navx2vad: Can you add HTC Task Manager in the next release please? The AutoClean realy sucks! Now i'm flashing Release 2 to test.

Nice release. Pretty fast and stable.
Unfortunately the missed call bug is still present.
The phone entered stand by, i received a call, i didn't answer it but when i wanted to see the number that called me the call history menu was empty. The missed call notification was activated but, as i said, the call history log showed nothing.
The strange thing is that usually when i get a missed call i get an sms from my network carrier notifying me about it; not this time...
I'll charge my prepaid card later and do some more test with missed calls

Probably this error is pretty much different for everyone because I do get to see my Missed Calls as you can see from the screenshots below.



Very varied these things. Some have it, some don't. Anyways, I am lucky not to have anyone of them. Hope the ghost bug soon disappears for you. But till then, enjoy the other features and have fun. Remember, do not miss any of your calls.

I just noticed it when I was testing the Missed Call bug on my PDA. It only comes when you lock your phone using the Windows Mobile Slide lock. Superb stuff. Do not recall seeing this in previous builds although.

Yup... very strange this missed call bug. I've been testing it today by calling from my other phone, even using private numbers. It works fine.
Possibly it's random or there's something i'm missing
About that incoming call screen: it was available in the previous versions as well; i've even used an app that controls the autolock feature. But is annoying sometimes as it's not that easy to use; you have to press and slide precisely the sliders to answer or ignore a call and it's a little laggy.

ohhh don't say like that my frnd.. i don't wanna be alone.....but unfortunately that is true..however i am optimistic person....and let me tell you this rom is one of the best rom i have seen for 6.5 so what if it is not working 100% for me. I won't say that my set has got some problem, but yes i am a testing freak, test a lot may be 48 hours continuously and expect just everything to be right....but sometimes i tend to forget that we have to compromise on few things as it is still in beta stage and genious ppl like nav2ad are putting there best efforts to bring out the best they can.....So i appriciate everybody who is contibuting to make this product better....and i am happy with this rom there is no doubt about it...so far did not face miss call prblm with this rom yet.


i am keeping a close eye on the not hearing other person on the call as this is the first time ever it happened to me... lets hope for the best.
